How we spend our free time
During the 1980 and the 1990 children and young people would spend their time watching TV because it was in color. But in this day in age, although television is still popular, most young people spends more time on the internet, using social network sites (facebook, twitter, bebo, messenger and skype), instant messenger sites and playing computer games (online games, Xbox 360, wii, DS, PSP and PC games).
Effects on the communities
With having so much information available online, traditional facility, like village shops are having price drop in customers. It is causing them to no longer be necessary for the community. This has a negative effect on the communities because there are fewer shops to go to.
How should you help communities?

· You can deliver a letter to someone (but you might need to plan out before hand
· Go to local shops more (than just ordering it online) you never know if you can get good deals
· Go play games outside instead of going inside
